The Oxnard Gem &amp; Mineral Society&rsquo;s (OGMS) has been delivering Lapidary (rock cutting &amp; polishing) and Jewelry Art Classes to the public for over 40 years. &nbsp;OGMS is a non-profit organization, under 501 (c)(3), founded in 1961.&nbsp;&nbsp;Our volunteer instructors are serving our community by offering their expertise to teach these classes without any financial renumeration.&nbsp;OGMS volunteer instructors, the City of Oxnard Recreation Department&rsquo;s dedication to bringing learning opportunities to the people of Oxnard, and Zeffy merchant services, make it possible to deliver these classes at less than a third of what we actually charge. The City of Oxnard Recreation Department enjoys hearing how the community values their efforts to support quality programs in the community. &nbsp;Please give them feedback on your experience in this program the next time you have an interaction with them.&nbsp;
