The Bridge Foundation, with the Delta Gamma Gamma Chapter of Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, Inc., will host the Leadership &amp; Service Banquet on&nbsp;Saturday, November 14, 2026, at Hyatt Place Lincoln / Downtown-Haymarket, 600 Q Street, Lincoln, Nebraska 68508. Doors open at 6:00 PM and dinner is served at 7:00 PM. The evening celebrates the accomplishments of Lincoln students and honors the leaders whose service has shaped this community. The Bridge Foundation was founded in October 2025 to connect young people ages 14 to 25 to career pathways in healthcare and STEM. Our work is built on a simple idea: talent in this community has never been the problem, access has. Last summer, eight Lincoln students spent six weeks inside a working healthcare campus at Gateway Vista, a Nye Health Services campus. Four were hired at Nye before the experience ended, and three had never worked in healthcare before. On November 14, we award scholarships to several students stepping into those careers, and recognize the young people who gave their time in service to this city. The Delta Gamma Gamma Chapter of Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, Inc. serves Lincoln through mentorship, scholarship, and community service, and is The Bridge Foundation&#39;s Official Community Partner. Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, Inc. was founded on November 17, 1911 at Howard University by Edgar Amos Love, Oscar James Cooper, and Frank Coleman, alongside founding faculty adviser Dr. Ernest Everett Just. It was the first international fraternal organization established on the campus of a historically Black college, built on the principles of Manhood, Scholarship, Perseverance, and Uplift. More than a century later, the men of Omega Psi Phi carry those principles into communities across the country through mentorship, scholarship, and service. The program will include a plated dinner, the presentation of student scholarships, recognition of youth community service, and the chapter&#39;s Omega Achievement Week awards honoring community leaders across education, business, ministry, public service, and other fields. The evening closes with a tribute to the Founders of Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, Inc.
