Though they be red like crimson, they may become white as wool.&rdquo; Isaiah 1:18&nbsp; Lent calls us to return&mdash;to cleanse our hearts, simplify our lives, and prepare for the joy of Easter. On the farm, this call becomes tangible as we gather to wash freshly shorn wool by hand, participating in an ancient practice of patience, care, and renewal. This simple, physical work becomes a prayer in motion, reminding us that God does not discard what is soiled, but lovingly restores it. As the wool is gently cleansed of what clings to it, we are invited to reflect on God&rsquo;s desire to wash away all that clouds the heart. This quiet, intentional work mirrors the Lenten journey: slowing down, attending to what needs purification, and allowing ourselves to be made ready for new life in Christ.
