Assalamu alaikum, This will be the first in a monthly lecture series, inshaAllah, that discusses the foundation of Muslim belief and practice. We will be meeting the 3rd Wednesday of every month at Kinfolk CoLab. A bit out our speaker, Imam Abu Noor Abdul-Malik Ryan. Imam Abu Noor is a beloved educator and chaplain at DePaul University, known for his thoughtful and accessible teaching. He has a background in both Islamic studies and law, and brings a unique blend of spiritual insight and practical wisdom to help Muslims navigate faith in today’s world. Through this lecture series, we hope to better understand the Qur'an and better understand how we acknowledge the inherent dignity and light present in all humans, as beloved creations of Allah in the best of molds. Through this we hope to see the ways in which revelation refines and guides the person -- Light upon Light. Thereby, reinforcing the ways in which knowledge, understanding, and practice build upon each other, Light upon Light. Upcoming DatesSept 17Oct 15Nov 19Dec 17Jan 21Feb 18---Apr 15May 20June 17
