A lifetime of memories may have been made in a few precious moments after birth, during the short weeks or months of life outside the womb, or in only a few brief years of living. However, no matter how long, it was just too little of time. There is little acknowledgement of the short lives of many of our children. For many who lost a child early in pregnancy or infants who died many years ago, there is no gravesite to visit, no grave to decorate, and no headstone to memorialize their precious little one. Lumen Christi Farm&rsquo;s Job Chapel is a place for us to come and remember. The name of each baby and child will be written in a Book of Remembrance kept in the Job Chapel on Lumen Christi Farm. Each family present will also receive a remembrance keepsake to take home.&nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp;The afternoon includes a special Healing Encounter time to snuggle and play with the new baby lambs born at the farm! You will experience the comfort of holding and feeding a baby lamb. The act of cuddling a lamb is known to bring comfort to those in grief by increasing serotonin and dopamine levels in the brain, which lowers the stress, anxiety, and depression associated with grieving.
