This session will highlight the variety of resources available at the History Center&rsquo;s Joiner History Room, explain how to begin a research project, and provide practical tips for locating information in local records. Participants will also learn how the archives can complement online genealogy resources by providing historical context and unique materials that cannot be found on the internet. The workshop is open to all experience levels, from first-time researchers to those with years of experience, and has a $5 fee per person. The DeKalb County History Center is located at 1730 N. Main Street in Sycamore. The class size is limited to 20, and registration is required.
