How far will you go?The 100 Route Challenge is a choose-your-own-adventure built for trail runners, hikers, andanyone who wants to explore more of the terrain around them. With a curated list of 100 uniqueroutes, participants have 100 days to complete as many as they can.Complete 50 routes within 100 days and you earn the title of Lost Soul—a finisher of thechallenge. To count as an Outlander route, the following rules apply:● Must be at least 10 miles in distance● Longer efforts (ex: 25 miles) still count as one Outlander● No more than 2 miles on paved surfaces   ○ (Exception: organized races such as marathons)● No more than 2 miles can overlap with existing challenge routes Scoring Rules for Competition AwardsIf you are competing for:● Most Total Mileage● Most Elevation ClimbedEach Outlander route will count as:● 10 miles total● 0 feet of elevation gain Getting Started:Once you are in the Facebook group, you can go to the Guides section/tab and see all guides (Areas). - The guides only show the starting point/where to park. - To see the actual gps routes click on the pinned link post in the Facebook Group to the ONE Caltopo map. Yes, one map to rule them all! All the routes are in one map and if you open the side folder it has them all sorted in sub folders by areas. Routes are now complete so no guessing if its an out an back.- Once you have completed a route, select the "Done" button for that route in the guides and that will log your results. - Also, comment on the route in the guide with a picture out on the route or a screenshot/link of your recorded activity if you tracked it.  - The official count will be based on selecting the "Done" button but backed up by your picture/activity comment. - If you accidentally click Done on a route, you are committed to completing that route.
