This is more than a performance. It is a reflection on how the chapters of a life find their way into the music we make, and on what it means to embody love and mercy in our own storied lives. Emberlight and Willow Moon Farm share a way of being in the world: deep listening, gratitude, and respect for all that lives. At Emberlight we practice loving presence and imagine a world where every one of us awakens to the power of love and service. An evening like this is that practice set to music, a chance to gather as community and hold space for the tender and joyful truths a song can carry. Your hosts for the evening: Greg Lathrop is a member of Emberlight&#39;s Elder Council and a retired registered nurse whose more than forty years of practice have spanned acute, critical, emergency, hospice, and integrative care. Alongside his nursing life, he apprenticed for thirteen years in a traditional Indigenous medicine lineage and is recognized as a Medicine Elder in that Way of healing. He carries a simple teaching into his work: that people wish not only to be cared for, but to be loved.
