The H.A.R.P. Museum at the Irish Cultural Center continues its popular Lunch and Learn serieson Wednesday, July 8 th at 11 AM, with a presentation titled &ldquo;Find Your Irish Ancestor Online.&rdquo; Did you know that most of the basic records you need to discover information about your Irishancestor&rsquo;s origins are online? You don&rsquo;t need to go to Dublin and spend your vacation in dustylibraries. With some basic background research and knowledge of what to expect from Irishrecords, you can soon be ready to walk in your ancestors&rsquo; footsteps. In this presentation,professional genealogist Lisa Dougherty will share tips and strategies from 30 years ofexperience in tracing Irish families. This marks Lisa&rsquo;s fourth visit to the Irish Cultural Center. She is a professional genealogist,lecturer and volunteer based in the Albany area of upstate New York. &nbsp;A member of theAssociation of Professional Genealogists, she is also a graduate of the ProGen Study Group. Lisahas many years of experience in family history research, specializing in finding places of originfor Irish ancestors, as well as tracing family lines forward to find living relatives. A $20 registration fee will cover the program and lunch; meal tax and gratuity are included.
