Rinzai-ji Zen Center is delighted to host Jiun Zenji from Shōgen Sōdō in Gifu, Japan, for a special three full day weekend Zazenkai. This retreat offers a rare opportunity to dedicate yourself fully to Zazen (sitting meditation) practice in Rinzai monastic style over a concentrated weekend schedule. Jiun Zenji will give talks during the retreat. Please note that there is no online participation for this retreat except for the morning and evening daily zendo time.  Zazenkai Schedule    •    Begins: Thursday, March 6, at 7:00 p.m.    •    Orientation at 5:00 p.m.    •    Informal dinner at 6:00 p.m.    •    Please arrive by 4:30 p.m. if you need an orientation.    •    End: Sunday, March 9, at 4:00 p.m., followed by light refreshments.
