Nathan Newbrough has dedicated over two decades to serving symphony orchestras, beginning his career at the League of American Orchestras and advancing to leadership roles with the Greenwich Village Orchestra, the Orchestra of the Southern Finger Lakes, and the Amarillo Symphony. Since 2008, as President and CEO of the Colorado Springs Philharmonic, he has transformed the organization post-bankruptcy, championing Service, Excellence, and Permanence. His efforts have more than doubled season ticket participation, tripled the endowment, and established the Colorado Springs Philharmonic Foundation. In 2024, he launched the Center for Future Audiences, a division devoted to cultivating new artistic ventures and creative discovery, furthering the belief that a creative culture fosters success.

Under his leadership, the Philharmonic has received prestigious awards, underscoring its economic and cultural contributions to the region. Outside of his professional achievements, Nathan enjoys outdoor adventures, restoring his vintage Honda motorcycle, tackling home improvement projects, and spending time with his daughters, Sarah and Eva.
