Explore Maybury State Park&#39;s trees on a guided walk 🌳 Join the Northville Tree Champions and the Friends of Maybury State Park for a guided walk to learn about and inspire a greater appreciation for the tress growing around us. The walk will cover basic tree and plant botany and identication. This event is free, however a recreation passport is required for park entry. Date: September 26th, 2026Time: The event starts at 10:00 am and will last approximately 1 1/2 hours. &nbsp;Please arrive 15 minutes prior to allow time for parking and check-in.&nbsp;Location:&nbsp;Maybury State Park, Beck Road Entrance, Equestrian Staging area.Event Description:&nbsp;We will walk approximately 1 - 1 1/2 miles over natural surface trails.EnChroma Glasses:&nbsp; will be available during this event. These glasses enable those with color blindness to experience a broader spectrum of clear, vibrant, distinct color.&nbsp;Hazards: You may encounter uneven surfaces with mud or water. Bugs such as ticks and mosquitos are prevalent.What to bring:&nbsp;Bug spray, sunscreen and water.What to wear: Dress for the weather, this event is 100% outdoors. Appropriate footwear is essential. You may encounter uneven surfaces with mud or water.
