Join Marine Corps League Detachment #924 as we celebrate the 251st Birthday of the United States Marine Corps. This formal Birthday Ball upholds our mission to preserve Marine Corps traditions and strengthen the bond among Marines, families, and supporters.&nbsp; *Please note that no physical tickets will be received for this&nbsp;event. You will check in at the registration table to find your assigned seating.&nbsp;Sequence of Events:&nbsp;Social Hour begins at 1600, followed by the ceremony at 1700. Immediately following the ceremony will be dinner, dancing, raffles and prizes.&nbsp;Location: Rothchild&rsquo;s Catering, 8807 Kingston Pike, Knoxville TN&nbsp;Dress Code: Formal (please see dress code guide on detachment website for questions)Military Uniforms with medals and/or ribbons&nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; Marine Corps League/Auxiliary uniforms with either DOD or MCL medals and/or ribbons&nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; Suit and tie or floor-length gown, or Sunday best dress &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; MCL/Aux members will wear their MCL covers during the ceremony with civilian attire Dinner: Choice of Buffet or Eggplant Parmesan.Buffet Options (Chicken piccata, Black pepper prime rib w/au jus and horseradish cream, or Salmon filet w/ brown sugar bourbon glaze)&nbsp;All meals include sides of: steamed broccolini (GF, DF, Ve), sweet potato casserole (contains nuts), freshly baked rolls, and a Greek Salad (w/romaine, tomato, cucumber, red onion, Kalamata olives, feta; lemon vinaigrette on side).
