The classes are scheduled as follows:&nbsp;Tuesday, 20th Cheshvan / November 11 - Overview of Conditions - Signs, Symptoms, Treatments with Rabbi Dr. Saul HiamoffRabbi Dr Saul Haimoff is a licensed clinical psychologist in private practice, with a specialty in treating children, adolescents and young adults with anxiety and behavioral disorders. He received his PsyD from Long Island University and rabbinic ordination from Yeshiva University. He has many years of experience in education and programming in the Jewish community. He currently serves as the Program Director and Associate Rabbi of the Jewish Center of Atlantic Beach and previously served as the Head Rabbi of The Brandeis School in Lawrence, NY. Additionally, he is the co-author of the Handbook of Torah and Mental Health, which catalogs over 50 Jewish sources that are related to mental health treatments, diagnoses and theories, and are supported by peer-reviewed studies. He has given lectures, workshops, and trainings to clinicians, schools, parents and the general community on various topics related to religion and mental health. Tuesday, 27th Cheshvan / November 18 - Overview of Conditions, Cont. with Dr. Saul Hiamoff Tuesday, 5th Kislev / November 25 - Limitations of a Teacher and How to Interact with Parents with Rabbi Dr. Bin Goldman, PsyD&nbsp;Rabbi Dr. Bin Goldman, PsyD, is a clinical psychologist in private practice with over two decades of experience at the intersection of education and mental health. He has served as Director of Guidance at the Rosenbaum Yeshiva of North Jersey, head of the Vaad Hachinuch at YBH of Passaic, and Clinical Coordinator of Prizmah&rsquo;s School Counselor Cohort, a North American training and supervision program for Jewish day school counselors. A former high school rebbe and psychology instructor at Rutgers University, Dr. Goldman has also supervised doctoral students at Columbia University. As a trauma specialist with Ohel&rsquo;s Trauma Response Team, he provides crisis intervention and educator training in the aftermath of community tragedies. Drawing on his experience as a teacher, administrator, clinician, and lay leader, he brings a deeply informed, compassionate perspective on how schools and educators can identify, support, and respond to students&rsquo; mental health needs. Tuesday, 12th Kislev / December 2 - Learn to Foster Safe Conversations and Recognize Signs of Suicide with Rabbi Dr. Yosef Sokol PhD, PsyDRabbi Dr. Yosef Sokol is a licensed clinical psychologist, professor at Touro University, and Department of Veterans Affairs research scientist specializing in suicide prevention and recovery. He developed Continuous Identity Cognitive Therapy (CI-CT), an approach that supports healing and recovery from suicide attempts and ideation. He has numerous peer reviewed publications and leads major research grants from the VA and American Foundation for Suicide Prevention. Dr. Sokol earned his PhD from Hofstra University, received semichah from Yeshivas Bais Yosef Novardok, and is the author of Becoming Godly: Integrating Torah and Psychology to Guide Us in Emulating Hashem. He is dedicated to bringing recovery-oriented, identity-focused approaches to healing individuals struggling with suicide. -- A few points to note:1.
