The Media Makers Masquerade Ball is the premier fundraising&nbsp;event&nbsp;benefiting the Sacramento Chapter of the National Association of Black Journalists (NABJ Sacramento). This elegant black-tie affair marks the inaugural year of what is destined to become the chapter&rsquo;s signature annual event. The evening will celebrate excellence, legacy, and the future of diverse voices in media. NABJ Sacramento will award scholarships to college students pursuing journalism, communications, and media studies at Sacramento-area institutions, helping cultivate the next generation of storytellers and media professionals. In addition, the event will honor pioneering Black journalists who broke barriers as &ldquo;firsts&rdquo; in Sacramento&rsquo;s media landscape, recognizing their contributions and the paths they forged for today&rsquo;s Black journalists working across the region. Guests are invited to&nbsp;don&nbsp;formal attire and masquerade masks for an unforgettable evening of celebration, networking, and philanthropy. The event will feature opportunities to support NABJ Sacramento through ticket sales, table sponsorships, and a silent auction, with all proceeds benefiting the chapter&rsquo;s programs and initiatives.
