Local pledges are based on the principle of equality of sacrifice: everybody contributes at a level that reflects their means and what they can sustain.

Pledges are part of our collective responsibility for building and maintaining a revolutionary organization. Our rent, materials, campaigns, events, and other work all depend on the having stable finances. When comrades exercise leadership in funding the organization, we strengthen our ability to punch above our weight.
