MGCU Community Membership

Join Middle Georgia Common Unity and help build a more electric, connected, and eclectic Middle Georgia—sometimes simply through your presence. ⚡WHY? Interest grows things. When each of us concentrates that interest through gatherings, events, MGCU Chat, MGCU Voice, local organizations, city government, and regional industry—and directs it toward mature, grounded, positive outcomes and growth— individual participation can become something much larger, and quickly as it grows.Maybe you help someone in MGCU Chat with a job lead—and that's a new job for someone. Maybe you discover an event you're interested in, attend, make some cool real-world connections, learn something about holistic health, find some good food, make a friend, and meet a farmer! Now there's more connection and more unity.Maybe you meet someone you otherwise never would have at one of these organized crossroads between MGCU Chat and real-world events. A good connection strikes and gets to continue because of the familiarity. You come back to Chat, share something you know about life, business, the world, or a resource somebody else didn't know existed. You contribute an idea—or simply admire somebody else's—and the interest circle continues from the web into real life and back again and grows people, places, things and the land it's on. All sorts of good, new, and cool things get to happen—and continue happening—when places and spaces exist for people who care about their region to align, grow, build, and be innovative.Your membership automatically unlocks full access to MGCU Chat and MGCU Voice and supports the systems, programs, outreach, and events that keep MGCU moving. As awareness, people, ideas, and resources align, we identify opportunities, strengthen the systems we're building, hold monthly gatherings, attend meetings with organizations and city governments and deploy practical solutions when they make sense.Common Unity asks a simple question: What do we have in common that can bring about greater unity across Middle Georgia? We are Americans, one. We are Georgians next. We live throughout the region Macon, Warner Robins, and the surrounding Middle Georgia region with a shared connection to Atlanta. And beneath those shared identities are even more fundamental things: food, water, clothing, shelter, livelihood, health, connection, opportunity—and the less talked about but equally important foundations of love, honor, and respect at home. The pillars of MGCU's work grow from these common needs and shared responsibilities—things that matter to people simply because we're people, living together on this Green Earth and participating in the human condition.Every one of us in this Common Unity is participating in something real—connecting, contributing, learning, building, IN REAL TIME, and still having some fun while we grow. 🌱Thanks for being part of it. Let's see what we can build together.
