Fall Middle School Mountain Bike Program For years, our Middle School Program has been at the heart of Roaring Fork Cycling, introducing hundreds of young riders to mountain biking while building confidence, friendships, resilience, and a lifelong love of riding. We're incredibly proud of the community we've created, and we're excited to continue growing this program for years to come.As we look ahead to this fall, we're introducing a new registration model designed to strengthen the program, create an even better experience for our riders, and ensure it remains sustainable for the future. Why the Change? If you've participated with us before, you'll notice that this season looks a little different. After thoughtful consideration, we're moving to a full-season registration model that allows us to continue offering high-quality programming while creating a more consistent experience for riders, families, and coaches. One of our goals is to create an even stronger experience for every rider. A full-season registration encourages consistent participation, helping riders build skills week after week, develop friendships with their teammates, and giving coaches the opportunity to plan progressive practices that support each rider's growth throughout the season. It also helps us build a sustainable program that can continue serving middle school riders throughout the Roaring Fork Valley for years to come. Program Details

6-week fall season

Two rides each week

12 coached sessions

$300 for the full season (just $25 per session)

Transportation provided from all participating schools except Aspen

Experienced coaches, skill development, trail adventures, and an encouraging team environment

Although we're introducing a registration fee, this program remains highly subsidized thanks to the generous support of our sponsors, grant partners, and community supporters. The registration fee covers only a portion of the actual cost of delivering the program, allowing us to continue providing a high-quality experience at an affordable price. To create the best experience for every participant, registration is for the entire 6-week program and is not offered on an a la carte basis. This helps us build consistent riding groups, foster stronger friendships, and create a progressive coaching experience that benefits every rider. Scholarships AvailableWe believe every child should have the opportunity to ride.Scholarships are available for families who need financial assistance, and we encourage anyone with concerns about the registration fee to reach out. We never want cost to be a barrier to participation. Help Keep the Program RollingThis new model depends on strong community participation. If your rider is interested in joining us this fall, we encourage you to register early. Minimum enrollment is required for programming to take place at each school, and Roaring Fork Cycling reserves the right to combine locations, adjust programming, or cancel a session if enrollment numbers are not met. Families will be notified promptly should any changes become necessary. We're also always looking for enthusiastic volunteer coaches! Whether you're an experienced mountain biker or simply enjoy working with kids and being outdoors, we'd love to have you join our team. Volunteer coaches are an important part of creating the fun, supportive community that makes this program so special. We'd Love Your FeedbackAs we continue to grow and evolve, we want to build the best possible program for our families. If you have ideas, suggestions, or feedback about what would make our Middle School Program even more exciting, accessible, or valuable, we'd love to hear from you.Thank you for being part of the Roaring Fork Cycling community. We can't wait to hit the trails with your riders this fall!
