Award winning Michigan-based watercolor artist Mike Henry will be in Lake City for his third year of sharing his laidback and informative teaching style with us! This year we will focus on painting four finished pieces over two days:* Nocturne - use warm and cool blues (and their complements) to create a night scene with depth.* Backlit (contre-jour) landscape - our subject will be in front of the light, creating a &lsquo;burned out&lsquo; area and long shadows coming toward us.* Winter scene - winter themes are often thought of as being cold, but we are going to make our scene have some warmth.* Warm/Cool painting - we&lsquo;ll concentrate on how we can exaggerate this contrast to make our painting pop. This class is for ANYONE interested diving in for a couple of days to take their skills to whatever the next level is. &nbsp;All supplies provided but you&rsquo;re welcome to bring your own.
