Turn rough boards into ready-to-build stock in this hands-on Hacksburg workshop. 🪵 In this class that we be taking rough cut lumber and turning it into S4S (Surfaced 4 Sides) stock. S4S stock (meaning square straight boards) is the starting point for most wood working projects and is critical for joinery. We will be learning the basics of, and using, the jointer and planer. After this class you will be ready to purchase rough cut lumber and make it usable (a huge money saver, particularly if you are interested in building anything with hardwood), or, even better, harvest your own lumber. Cost: $10 for members / $15 for non-membersAge requirement: Open to ages 18 and up.Instructor: Erik Leedom
