This beautiful, one-of-a-kind piece was handcrafted by Jim Tripp, a well-known and respected potter from Lumberton, North Carolina.

This piece was created using the horsehair raku technique, one of Tripp's most recognized designs. During the firing process, strands of horsehair are placed against the heated pottery, leaving behind the delicate carbon trails that make each piece completely unique.
