Through engaging discussions, real-life scenarios, and lessons rooted in Islamic teachings, students will explore what it means to have excellent character (akhlaq) and put those values into practice. Topics include respect for parents and elders, kindness, honesty, keeping promises, choosing good friends, modesty and humility, gratitude and patience, forgiveness, managing anger and jealousy, fairness, avoiding backbiting and suspicion, responsible use of wealth, and serving others. Students will also learn from the lives and character of the Prophets ﷺ, the Sahabah, and other exemplary Muslims. The goal is to help students move beyond simply knowing what Islam teaches to living those values at home, at school, with friends, and in their community&mdash;building character that reflects the beautiful manners of Islam.
