Join the Washington County NAACP Youth Council for an HBCU Tour! Ready to experience Morgan State University? The Washington County NAACP Youth Council invites local youth to explore one of the nation&rsquo;s premier Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCUs) in Baltimore, MD. This is a free, first-come, first-served opportunity for students to get a firsthand look at campus life, academic excellence, and the rich history of Morgan State. &nbsp;Event Details&bull;&nbsp;Date:&nbsp;April 20th&bull;&nbsp;Ages:&nbsp;14&ndash;24&bull;&nbsp;Cost:&nbsp;FREE (includes transportation and lunch)&bull;&nbsp;Registration Deadline:&nbsp;April 15th at 12:00 PM &nbsp;Transportation &amp; Schedule&bull;&nbsp;Check-in:&nbsp;8:30 AM at Fairgrounds Park.&bull;&nbsp;Departure:&nbsp;9:00 AM sharp.&nbsp;The bus will not wait, so please ensure you are on time!&bull;&nbsp;Arrival at Campus:&nbsp;11:00 AM&bull;&nbsp;Lunch:&nbsp;11:00 AM &ndash; 12:00 PM (Provided by the NAACP)&bull;&nbsp;Guided Campus Tour:&nbsp;12:00 PM &ndash; 1:30 PM&bull;&nbsp;Bookstore Visit:&nbsp;After the tour, students can visit the bookstore. The branch will provide a set stipend for a purchase (amount TBA). Note: If a student chooses an item exceeding this amount, they must pay the difference.&bull;&nbsp;Return Trip:&nbsp;Depart campus at 2:30 PM; arrive back at Fairgrounds Park by 4:30 PM. &nbsp;Parent Information&bull;&nbsp;Chaperones:&nbsp;Each youth participant is permitted to bring&nbsp;one parent&nbsp;on the bus.&bull; Additional Guests: Other family members are welcome to join us at the campus but must provide their own transportation and meet the group at Morgan State.&nbsp; &nbsp;Important Requirements&bull;&nbsp;Permission &amp; Waivers:&nbsp;All participants under 18 must have a signed parent permission form. Additionally,&nbsp;all&nbsp;participants must sign a liability waiver. These forms will be emailed to you after registration.&bull;&nbsp;No Form, No Trip:&nbsp;Students arriving without signed paperwork will not be permitted to board the bus.&bull;&nbsp;School Absence:&nbsp;Please note that April 20th is a regular school day. Families are responsible for deciding if the student will attend and must notify the school of the absence.&bull;&nbsp;Attendance Policy:&nbsp;We have&nbsp;25 student seats&nbsp;available.
