She also joined the initiative on &ldquo;Islam &amp; Medicine&rdquo; at the University of Chicago. Later, she worked as an academic researcher at Stanford University&rsquo;s Muslims Mental Health &amp; Islamic Psychology Lab in California. With over 13 years of experience as a Muslim health consultant and educator, Dr. Heba has taught numerous in-person &amp; online courses integrating Islam and health, including her well-known programs on Female puberty, Fiqh for high schoolers, and the Fiqh of women and sexual health in Islam.
