Sometimes caring for ourselves means getting out of our heads and reconnecting with our bodies. Join Rakhi Shingala for a welcoming, beginner-friendly movement experience designed to help you slow down, release stress, express yourself, and explore the connection between movement and emotional well-being.The experience will begin with gentle movement and body awareness to help you settle in and feel comfortable. From there, Rakhi will guide you through movement exploration using music, rhythm, creativity, and playful self-expression. There are no steps to memorize and no expectation to know how to dance. The focus is simply on noticing your body, moving in ways that feel comfortable to you, and experiencing movement as a form of self-care. We'll close with calming movement, grounding, and a brief opportunity for reflection. You'll also identify a simple movement or self-care practice you can take with you and use in everyday life. No previous dance or movement experience is required. Come as you are and be ready to move, explore, and have some fun.
