The Rocky Mountain Land Library is excited to host Gwendolyn Gussman and Nicholas Caputo from HOLDTIGHT, a Denver- and NYC-based interdiscplinary performance art company whose mission is to illuminate the intersection of art, environmental activism, psyche, and body.

Process + Express Workshop

Process + Express combines a unique blend of readings, prompt writing, open dialogue, body-awareness meditation, guided movement improvisation, and live music to create a safe space for deep reflection and joyous play! During this workshop we will attune to the beautiful & expansive surroundings of the ranch, garnering inspiration for our writing and movement from the land itself. Process + Express is designed for people who want to connect with their brains, hearts, and physical moving bodies, to explore the intersection between their own life and Mother Earth. All are welcome, this workshop is accessible to all bodies, ages, and abilities. 

Created to encourage introspection, share artistic tools for processing that reflection, and then space and gentle guidance for expression back out! Process + Express is created and led by HOLDTIGHT’s artistic director Gwendolyn Gussman who is also a expert movement facilitator, alongside Denver musician & sound designer Nicholas Caputo who will offer live music for the workshop. This workshop will also include a packed delicious & healthy lunch provided by a local Park County restaurant.
