Monadnock Peer Support is honored to invite you to our 5th Annual Floating Lanterns Festival, happening on Saturday, May 29, 2027, at Stonewall Farm in Keene. What began as a special evening of remembrance and reflection has become something much bigger; a community tradition centered on hope, connection, and breaking the stigma surrounding mental health. As the sun sets and hundreds of lanterns begin to glow across the water, each one carries a message. A hope. A memory. A prayer. A reminder that someone is loved. Together, those individual lights become something powerful.No one should have to struggle in silence. Mental health challenges affect our families, friends, coworkers, neighbors, and communities. Yet stigma can still make people feel ashamed, judged, or afraid to ask for help.&nbsp; The Floating Lanterns Festival gives our community an opportunity to change that narrative. It creates a space where we can talk openly about mental health, honor the journeys we have each experienced, remember those we have lost, and celebrate the strength that comes from supporting one another. At Monadnock Peer Support, we believe hope grows when it is shared. Our mission is to provide mental health support through mutually supportive peer relationships and to help build a community where mental health differences are accepted and understood. We envision a community where people lift one another up and where no one feels ashamed, judged, or alone because of their mental health. The Floating Lanterns Festival brings that vision to life, and your participation helps us keep the lights shining. Funds raised through this event support Monadnock Peer Support&#39;s work throughout the Monadnock Region, providing free, non-clinical peer support and opportunities for people to find connection, build community, and move toward wellness. This event sends a message to our community. It tells anyone in our community who may be struggling that they are not alone. It tells families that mental health deserves to be talked about. It tells our neighbors that asking for help is a sign of strength, not weakness. And it tells our entire community that there is hope.
