Join Sitka Trail Works in repairing the lower stretches of the Mount Edgecumbe Trail! This event is for volunteers who want to get their hands dirty and haul gravel to fix the portions of the trail that are subsiding into the muskeg. We&#39;ll be busy making improvements in the first mile and a half of trail, which means you won&#39;t be climbing the volcano. The landing at Fred&#39;s Creek is tide dependent, which means that we&#39;ll have a long day on Kruzof Island. We&#39;ll catch a ride out on an Allen Marine boat at 8:00 AM and will be returning around 6:45 PM, so bring plenty of food and water, as well as clothing and gear to stay dry and warm regardless of weather. We&#39;ll send more details once you register, but don&#39;t hesitate to reach out with questions!
