Northaven's Musical Theater Camp&nbsp;brings kids together to sing, dance, create and act in a supportive, faith-rooted community. Guided by caring leaders, campers learn stage skills while building confidence and friendships. Rooted in Northaven UMC’s commitment to welcome all, this camp invites children to explore their creativity, share their gifts, and experience the joy of working as an ensemble. Our weekend programming is suitable for children who are 3 years old through those who have completed 5th grade. (Older siblings 6th grade and up are able to register as helpers - contact Jen for more information!) We'll begin the weekend on Friday evening, June 12, gathering from 6:00-8:00PM. (Your child should eat before arriving, we will not be providing dinner) We'll begin learning the music for the show and will also work on our set. We will provide a snack on Friday evening. Saturday, June 13, we will meet from 10:00AM until 3:00PM. We'll work on the show, casting various speaking roles and rehearsing the musical numbers. We'll include some choreography and will continue to create our set. We'll also complete a craft and have some outside play time! Your child will bring a sack lunch &amp; a water bottle for Saturday. We'll provide a morning snack &amp; an afternoon snack. The weekend will conclude on Sunday, June 14. Participants will gather at the church at 12:00PM for lunch provided by the church. We'll rehearse and finish working on our show, welcoming parents &amp; families back at 2:00PM for a performance of our musical "Who Was That?"
