Group choreography is a maximum oof 3 minutes 0 seconds, including entrance and exit.5. Per RSOBHD rules, music may include vocal or percussion selections, but in all cases must be predominantly Scottish or Celtic in style. Group Choreography Competition will be danced after the morning primary and beginner events and before the afternoon events. Estimated time to be determined once entries close. All music must be submitted electronically to heather.overright@gmail.com. Please bring a backup copy on a memory stick or i-phone to the event. COMPETITION RULES1. Dance competition will be governed by the rules and regulations of the RSOBHD.2. Advance registration is necessary. Registration will open on February 1, 2025 at 9:00 am MST. Entries close at 11:59 pm MST on March 17, 2025.3. No refunds of entry fees will be given. No exceptions.4. Each Dancer must present a valid 2025 ScotDance registration card.5. The decision of the judge is final.6. No one other than the competition committee may communicate with the judge.7. All age groups will be determined at the close of the entry.8. Dancers will dance in inverse order of entry (first to enter last to dance)9. Dancers must remain in costume to receive awards.10. An Aggregate trophy will be awarded in each Beginner, Novice, Intermediate andPremier age group if there are at least three dancers in that age group. No Aggregate trophy will be awarded in Primary.11. Any protest must be submitted in writing to the competition organizer, properly signed and accompanied by a fee of $20. It must be made immediately following the competition. If the protest is sustained the fee will be returned.12. Music will be from the Definitive Collection by Donald McPhee.
