The <a href="https://ecoversities.org/" target="_blank">Ecoversities Alliance</a> and <a href="https://www.cosmiclabyrinth.world/" target="_blank">Cosmic Labyrinth</a> are joining to host a bioregional gathering of education re-imaginers, play-based builders, cultural weavers and cultivators of aliveness from July 26 - 28, 2025!  Wisdom from all ages is welcome as we’re calling in solidarity and co-creativity as our response-ability during troubled times. Let's link arms as we cultivate ground-up resilience and re-resourcing the commons. When times are serious we need to play more! During the gathering will be co-creating with the Earth (literally building a climate positive eco-toilet out of locally sourced materials), exploring play as radical pedagogy, and sharing emergent knowledge around healing, re-localizing and regenerating the ecologies of our collective imagination. We will be collaborating with <a href="https://www.cultivatingself.org/" target="_blank">Cultivating Self</a> , <a href="http://www.solutioncraft.org/" target="_blank">Brennan Bird</a>, <a href="https://www.risinglotusreiki.com/" target="_blank">Rising Lotus Reiki</a>, <a href="https://nativehistoryproject.org/" target="_blank">Alameda Native History Project</a>, <a href="https://bioticship.com/" target="_blank">Bioticship</a>, <a href="https://redearthmovement.org/" target="_blank">Red Earth Movement</a> and many other local regenerative projects.  This is a Call to Action to support the creation of a Bay Area Bioregional Ecoversity and strengthen the Turtle Island (North America) Regional Alliance as a way of addressing the polycrisis. We will share our wisdom and weave our dreams while contributing to local capacity and joy. Let's call in the sacred serpents 🐍  And dissolve the Separating fence Let's meet where the river meets the bay And mix clay with hay We will heal, learn, and play And listen to what the builders say We will gather at the end of July We may cry, sigh and mystify  In a cosmic ecotherapeutic high This experience will invite local builders, contractors, and real estate professionals to explore how building building fire resilient buildings and ecotoilets can be legalized because of their quality and resilience to fires and other challenges. The main portion of this gathering will be held over 2 days and will be the most intensive part of the build and will also include community meals, community learning, wisdom sharing and mythology, and discussing bioregional economics and bioregional financing facilities that can create an economy for building adobe (fire-safe) housing and shelters throughout California, legally. You are invited to participate and/or donate in the spirit of the generosity. We welcome monetary contributions towards the logistical costs on the gathering and to support the ongoing efforts of the organizing team and regional weavers.  If money is a barrier, we have some funds available to support travel costs (thanks to the Ecoversities Alliance) so please let us know what you would need to make your participation possible.
