Sometimes the smallest moments make the biggest impact.

Donnie Johns, President‑Elect of the Owasso, OK AMBUCS chapter, wore his AMBUCS shirt to work at the bank one day — never imagining it would lead to a major gift.

A regular client, who wishes to remain anonymous, noticed the shirt and asked about AMBUCS. Donnie shared a brief explanation and then pulled up a video on his phone showing a recent Amtryke giveaway, featuring three smiling kids receiving their therapeutic tricycles.

After watching the video, the client said:

“I’m going to have to go get my checkbook; I need to write you a check.”

He returned moments later with a $10,000 personal donation.

Jeff Hill, Artist & Autism Warrior

Jeff is 19 years old and recently graduated from Whitehouse High School. Jeff became highly interested in 3D printing after taking a class in junior high. Jeff makes all sorts of designs including what was given for the auction! He refuses to accept money towards his supplies for what he donates. All he wants is pictures of his creations and to be updated on how they do at the auction! Jeff is also active in Boy Scouts of America and is an Eagle Scout.

His favorite Bible verse is Ephesians 6:13 - Therefore take up the whole armor of God, that you may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand firm. 

His favorite thing to tell others is "Don't let anyone tell you that you can't do something due to the way God made you."

Crafted from sterling silver and finished in lustrous 14K Gold plating with abalone shell inlay that mimics the iridescent ripples of the sea.
