Many of you will remember the 27th Administration&#39;s Triennial NCM in Philadelphia and&nbsp;we&rsquo;ll be meeting in the&nbsp;same location, the Historic Warwick Hotel, the oldest purpose-built&nbsp;hotel building in&nbsp;Philadelphia. When we stayed there last, one definitely could feel the&nbsp;building&rsquo;s&nbsp;antiquity&mdash;not so much today! You will remark on the sparkly lobby, new bathroomsand the ultra modern ballroom. The hotel sits just behind Rittenhouse Square which is one of the swankiest addressesin the City. One side of the Square is lined with restaurants and the other boastsPhilly&rsquo;s most expensive hotel and the beautiful Trinity Church. The other building alongthe square house upscale condominiums and architecturally unique large singlehomes. We are looking forward to showing you around. Take our Trolley Tour and check out allour historic sites: Independence Hall, the Liberty Bell, Betsy Ross House, Old City,Benjamin Franklin&rsquo;s Press, two river-fronts, Fairmount Park and its Mansions, thePhiladelphia Museum of Art and Boathouse row. There is so much to see. 2026 will bea momentous year for Philadelphia and the Nation: it will be the 250th Anniversary ofthe Signing of the Declaration of Independence. The City is preparing for a BIGcelebration! As well as all the tourist sites, the city boasts hundreds of bars and restaurants, readyto please every possible taste in food, drinks and decor. On our Trolley Tour we willstop for brief refreshments at Ormiston Mansion in Fairmount Park&mdash;an historic homemaintained by the Royal Heritage Society, an organization founded about 40 years agoby DBE members. We have other potential excursions to tell you about once you are registered.We know you will be happy to reunite with DBE friends from across the country. Ourbusiness agenda is very full and, in addition to updates from our State Societies and ourHomes, you will learn more about our DBE history and attend break-out meetings to expandyour DBE knowledge and skills. We were able to utilize &ldquo;Zeffy&rdquo; this year, unlike&ldquo;Eventbrite&rdquo;, Zeffy does not charge fees. Your National Board has worked hard throughout the year, not only tackling our day-todayDBE duties, but undertaking many new projects and we will share theseinnovations with you.
