Welcome to Nest Fest: 🔮 SPELLBOUND 🔮; The Nest’s fast-paced festival of brand-new theater, built on collaboration, creative risk-taking, and a little bit of chaos. Here’s how it works:We give 7 playwrights a theme, a shared set, and a few creative parameters. They have 2 weeks to write an original 10-minute play. Then, the scripts are handed over to 7 directors and up to 28 actors, who have just 2 weeks to rehearse and bring them to life. The result?7 completely original plays, fully staged and performed for two nights only. No one knows exactly what these artists are going to create — and that’s the fun of it.Come discover new work, meet some incredible LA artists, and experience what can happen when you give a bunch of theater-makers a deadline and permission to get a little weird. October 24 + 25One theme. One shared set. Seven new plays. Make small theater noisy.
