Next Step is a community-based transition program that helps teens and adults with autism and related disabilities build meaningful friendships, develop independence, and gain the social and life skills needed for success beyond school. Participants also have the option to enjoy dinner during each meeting.Our 2026&ndash;2027 program year will begin on Wednesday, September 2, 2026.At Next Step, our goal is to provide a place where every individual feels valued, connected, and empowered to build a meaningful adult life. We believe that everyone deserves a place to belong, opportunities to grow, and the support needed to reach their fullest potential.In addition to our weekly meetings, we offer a variety of opportunities throughout the year to connect with fellow Next Step members through community outings, volunteer opportunities, special events, and social gatherings.Please be sure to visit our website and follow our Facebook page for updates, event information, and upcoming opportunities to connect.The participation fee is $10 per week. However, no participant will ever be turned away due to an inability to pay. Participants who wish to receive a discount code are encouraged to complete one hour of volunteer service each week, helping us continue to build a strong and supportive community for everyone.We look forward to learning, growing, and creating lasting friendships with you.
