ICCH is excited to announce the Quran ALEF Beginner's Arabic program led by Dalia Elgamel. This program will be for ages Women 18+. Classes will meet weekly on Sat 11-12PM in-person or Mon 5-6PM online starting Oct 3, 2026 and ending January 30, 2027 PROGRAM DESCRIPTION This class is designed for non-Arabic speakers who would like to learn the basics of Arabic and start learning how to read the Quran. We will use the Nooraniyah book and a practice workbook to build basic Arabic reading and writing skills step by step. We will also touch on basic Arabic grammar and learn a new Quranic word each week. Students will practice writing the word and seeing it often so it becomes familiar to them. Inshaa Allah, when they come across the word in the Quran, they will recognize it and know what it means. I have been teaching Arabic at the university level since 2018, and I will combine that experience with the Nooraniyah method to make learning simple and practical. By the end of the class, students will have a good foundation in Arabic reading and writing and will be ready to move on to the next step: Tajweed class in shaa’ Allah If you have not attended an ICCH program in the past, you will receive a participant registration packet directly from DocuSign. Your registration is NOT confirmed until these forms are completed and signed PRIOR to the first day of the program. The suggested donation for these classes is to cover the expenses of the class. Please donate generously! Any donation is greatly needed and appreciated! Your registration will be finalized once you receive a confirmation email with detailed information.
