Branch membership connects national ASALH members with people and organizations working to preserve, promote, and protect African American history in Northern Virginia. Members participate in local educational programs, historic-site visits, lectures, commemorations, community partnerships, volunteer service, and branch planning.
Annual branch dues are $40 per person and support local programming, outreach, communications, and administrative needs. A current national ASALH membership is also required and must be purchased separately at ASALH.org/join.
