Our hands-on STEM and aerospace programs are designed for students from 5th through 9th grade, and no experience is required. Please complete the application and submit your deposit to hold your place. Spots fill quickly, so register early. The deposit is applied to the total camp cost and is not an additional fee. This year&rsquo;s theme is Making Space. We have just opened our new NearSpace Education facility and makerspace, packed with advanced manufacturing and STEM equipment. Students will have access to laser scanners, laser cutters, pick and place machines, CNC machines, 3D printers, microelectronics tools, soldering stations, and much more. Throughout the camp, participants will learn to use this equipment as they explore aerospace, engineering, and satellite concepts. Each week will build toward a real high altitude balloon launch where students fly their own experiments into the stratosphere. After the mission, we recover the payloads so students can analyze results and see the impact of their work. It is an unforgettable experience that blends hands-on learning with the excitement of real space exploration.
