We are so excited to welcome you to the second year of theatre at Oak Lawn Elementary School! Our production will be Disney's Finding Nemo JR., an adaptation of the beloved Pixar film that is perfect for young performers. We encourage anyone who is interested to participate – no experience is necessary! There’s a place for everyone, with opportunities for children of all skill and comfort levels.

• REHEARSALS – Rehearsals will be after school on Wednesdays until 5:00 pm. Rehearsals will begin Wednesday, October 28th. We kindly ask all participants to keep these time slots available from October 28th through the show date on April 10th. A complete production schedule can be found here. Pick up will be at Door 4.
• TECH WEEK – Tech Week will take place at Hope Highlands Middle School Auditorium from Thursday, April 8th through Friday, April 9th from 3:30 pm until 6:30 pm. ALL PERFORMERS MUST ATTEND ALL TECH WEEK REHEARSALS. There are a few reasons for this, but the number one is safety – once bright lights and large set pieces come into play, it is important that each child learn their traffic patterns, and the traffic patterns of others, to allow for a smooth and safe performance. It is also the final few days we have to put all of the pieces of our show together, including lighting, sound, costumes, and more. If you have any conflicts for these dates, please do your best to clear them. If conflicts still exist, please reach out to Miss Maddie as soon as possible to discuss options.
• PERFORMANCE – Our performances will take place at Hope Highlands Middle School Auditorium on Saturday, April 10th. All students will have one final rehearsal before the show. Call time for performers will therefore be 12:00 pm.
