The conversation will explore bidding strategy, public-private partnerships, venue and destination collaboration, funding, visitor impact and the long-term community value of hosting sports. This forum is especially relevant for civic leaders, universities, destinations, venues, event organizers and public-sector professionals.  Track B: Career Development Forum Breaking into Sports: Building a Career and Standing Out in a Competitive Industry This session will provide practical guidance for individuals seeking to begin or advance a career in sports. Industry professionals will discuss career pathways, the skills employers value, relationship-building, professional development and strategies for standing out in a competitive field. This forum is designed for students, young professionals and career changers.  Track C: Global Sports and Major Events Forum Global Sports and the Road to LA28 This session will explore the growing international opportunities surrounding sports, major events and the road to the LA28 Olympic and Paralympic Games. Topics may include international partnerships, national governing bodies, sports innovation, event hosting, pre-Games training camps and connecting Orange County organizations to the global sports marketplace. This forum is designed for sports organizations, businesses, universities, destinations and professionals interested in international sports and major events.  2:30–2:45 p.m. Networking Break Enjoy refreshments, reconnect with attendees from the other forums and return to the CU Center for the closing general session. 2:45–3:30 p.m. Closing General Session: The Power of Sport to Transform Communities  CU Center The closing session will explore how sports can serve as a platform for youth development, education, health, inclusion and stronger communities. The conversation will also examine public-private partnerships, measurable community impact and the lasting legacy that major events such as the FIFA World Cup and LA28 can create. 3:30–3:40 p.m. Closing Remarks The Orange County Sports Commission will conclude the formal summit program, recognize participating partners and speakers, and invite attendees to continue their conversations during the reception. 3:45–5:00 p.m. Attendee Networking Reception  Activity Reception Hall Close the summit with refreshments, light appetizers and one final opportunity to connect with speakers, partners and fellow attendees in a relaxed setting. 4:00–5:30 p.m. OC Sports Gives Back  CUI Gym OC Sports Gives Back is the community-impact component of the summit.
