One-Handed Shot – Driving close to the net (basic technique)
Defense – Moving to the ball quickly, strongly and efficiently
One-Handed Shot – Integration into game play
(This is the continuation of session 1, if you didn't participate - you should only register if you can hold the ball in one hand)
Transition Offense – Managing the play and attacking after gaining possession of the ball in defense [Intermediate+]
One of the main challenges with transition attacks is that they are significantly harder to plan than attacks following a serve reception; attackers are often poorly positioned relative to the net, leading to a rushed and ineffective attack. During the session, we will work on making the attack more efficient, smarter, and even structured!
Two-Handed Shot – Technique + changing direction
Defense – How to move efficiently, when to move, and how to read the attacker
Block – Single block technique and how to incorporate it into game play
