Andalusia Historic House Trip – October 29

Join the Garden Club of LBI for a day trip to Andalusia Historic House, Gardens and Arboretum 🌿 on October 29, 2026! Andalusia is a historic estate located just north of Philadelphia, featuring a mansion known as the Big House, which is an example of Greek Revival architecture, surrounded by beautiful gardens and woodlands overlooking the Delaware River. The site has been a significant presence for over 225 years and offers visitors a glimpse into the lives of the Biddle family, who were prominent in American history. (Please visit <a fr-original-style="" href="http://www.andalusiapa.org" rel="noopener noreferrer" style="text-decoration-color: currentcolor; user-select: auto; box-sizing: inherit;" target="_blank">Andalusia House and Gardens</a>&nbsp;for more information.) **Registration closes October 19.** We are carpooling from the old Shop Rite parking lot, Route 72, Manahawkin, NJ. Departure is at 8:30 AM SHARP with an approximate 1 hour and 15 minute drive time. We expect to return to Manahawkin at approximately 3:00 PM. Your registration of $30 includes the guided house tour and self-guided garden tour. Lunch is not included in the registration fee. Participants may bring a picnic lunch (picnic grounds are available onsite) or dine at one of several nearby restaurants.
