The wealthy sister who acquired her wealth by marrying, murdering and collecting life insurance claims on her dead husbands finds herself in a tight spot when she decides to get rid of her third husband to be. Cindy&rsquo;s plans are about to hit rock bottom when a slick hustler named Scatta teams up with her sister Rella and the new husband to be. They are about to turn the tables on Cindy and do unto Cindy what she plans on doing to the new man that she conned into believing that she is truly in love with him. This leads to a series of sneaky cut throat activities that has each one cutting against the other to acquire their share of a twenty million U.S. dollars insurance policy. What follows is a hilarious rollercoaster ride of humor and drama that makes &ldquo;Once Upon A Crime&rdquo; well worth seeing. The surprise ending is another factor that makes this show one you should not miss. The extremely talented cast is headed by Maxwell Grant, popularly known as Bashy from the highly successful Bashment Granny comedy series, along with Stede Flash who came to fame as the comical Jooky Jam from the box office hit comedy Maama Man. The cast also features award winning actress Dianne Dixon who has been featured in several movies and multiple stage plays, Swavian Loney and Lavern Williams who are not new comers to the stage. The script is written by Michael Denton who wrote the stage play &ldquo;Scandal&rdquo; which holds the record of being the longest running and most successful play in the history of Jamaican theater. He has won multiple awards for his stage plays and most recently received the Lifetime Achievement Award for his contribution for outstanding service and the development of Jamaica&rsquo;s Roots Play Industry. Once Upon A Crime will prove to be an evening well spent at the theater.
