This theme recognizes that migration is not a loss, but a transformation, of both people and places. It's about hope, opportunity, and the shared human desire to build something better. We’re honored to launch this year's festival with a special screening of La Frontera/ The Border, a powerful feature by director David David, who joins us all the way from Colombia.</div><div>La Frontera explores the emotional and physical borders we navigate—identity, migration, resilience—with poetry, grit, and compassion.
