Learn how to recognize and respond to an opioid overdose and how to use naloxone to help save a life. H3RC offers this free virtual training on the third Thursday of every month via Zoom. Participants will learn the signs of an opioid overdose, how naloxone works, how to respond during an overdose, and practical harm reduction strategies that can help keep people safer. This training is open to community members, service providers, family members, friends, and anyone who wants to be prepared to respond to an opioid overdose. No prior experience is required.
