This Halloween, trade a little candy for CURIOSITY! Join the LoCo Kids Foundation for a FREE, hands-on science experience where kids become junior scientists and discover what owls eat by dissecting a real owl pellet! Each child will receive an owl pellet and use real dissection tools to carefully pull it apart, identify tiny bones, and piece together clues about what their owl had for dinner. 🔎🦴 And we&#39;re working on an extra-special guest... 🦉 We&#39;re hoping to welcome a LIVE OWL! We&#39;re working to bring in a real owl and wildlife educator so kids can get an up-close look at one of nature&#39;s most fascinating nighttime hunters while learning about owl adaptations, habitats, diets, and their important role in our ecosystem. WHAT KIDS WILL DO🦴 Dissect a real owl pellet 🔎 Find and identify animal bones 🧪 Use real science tools and dissection trays 🦉 Learn how owls hunt, eat, and digest their food 🌎 Explore food chains and the natural world ✨ Experience science in a messy, memorable, hands-on way!🎟️ AND IT&#39;S COMPLETELY FREE! Thanks to donated supplies and the support of our community, there is no cost for children to participate. However, registration is required so we can make sure we have enough pellets, supplies, and space for every young scientist. 📅 October 31, 2026 📍 LoCo Kids Foundation 🎟️ FREE &mdash; Registration Required 👧🧒 Recommended for kids of all ages!
