Location: Bonnie Wenk Park, McKinney, TX Date: August 15, 2026 Time: 8:00 AM &ndash; 10:00 AM CST Participants: @One Earth One Chance, UTD @Sigma Alpha Epsilon, and @City of McKinnet community members Purpose: Promote environmental stewardship and community engagement through park cleanup efforts Join us to keep our parks clean, protect our wildlife and build a healthier community. A litter cleanup can be hard work, but fun at the same time! Remember to take a moment and see the beauty of nature. A variety of animals, insects and plants live in our parks and creeks, so observe but do not disturb.&nbsp; Here&rsquo;s what you will do: Walk around the park with grabbers and gloves, picking up any litter you see.What to wear: Thick-soled, closed-toe shoes (waterproof boots); Long pants, long-sleeved shirt and a hat. Use sun protection and bug repellant.What to bring: Water in a reusable bottle and sling.&nbsp; Leave No Trace:&nbsp;Leave nothing but footprints, take nothing but memories. Minors must be accompanied by an adult.&nbsp;
