Apoyan hasta 160 hogares y sirven en promedio a 500 personas adicionales durante cada evento de distribuci&oacute;n de alimentos abierto. Las distribuciones se llevan a cabo dos veces al mes. Su presupuesto operativo es de $8000 al mes, que cubre seguros, gastos de veh&iacute;culos, materiales y suministros para la distribuci&oacute;n y personal a tiempo parcial para gestionar las operaciones del Hub. 🎉 Excitement is in the air! Get ready to be part of something extraordinary at Parktown Food Hub&#39;s fundraising event. It&#39;s an event like no other, and we want you to be there! 🎉 All Saints&#39; United Methodist Church, Parkwood United Methodist Church, and Christus Victor Lutheran Church invite you to join us for a wonderful meal as we support the Parktown Food Hub. &nbsp;Our goal is raise $10,000 and 30 new monthly sustainers of the Food Hub at the event. &nbsp;Beyond purchasing your ticket here, you&#39;ll have the opportunity to give money to the Parktown Food Hub on this app as well as at the event. Parktown Food Hub is a community-centered non-profit agency of the Food Bank of Central and Eastern NC. Their mission is to support individuals and families experiencing food insecurity, with a zero waste mindset, in an inclusive and welcoming environment. They support as many as 160 households and serve on average an additional 500 individuals during each open food distribution event. The distributions are held twice a month. Their operational budget is $8000 per month which covers insurance, vehicle expenses, materials and supplies for distribution and part time staff to manage the operations of the Hub. What is the CCoM?In 2022, All Saints&#39;, Parkwood, and CVLC made a covenant to partner together to build relationships so we can do better ministry together than we can alone. &nbsp;The North Carolina Conference of the United Methodist Church guided us through a program called Cooperative Communities on Mission or CCoM. &nbsp;We received a $1,000 grant from the conference that we are using to cover the food and other costs of this fundraiser. &nbsp;Ministry like this is only possible because of the community relationships we have developed.
