Join us on PDA Day for a full day free virtual event by PDA North AmericaThis event offers a day full of live Q&A sessions/discussions with various experts in the PDA community and will be recorded and sent to all who register. By registering, you will get the recording for all six Q&As! This is your opportunity to do a deep dive, ask your burning questions about PDA and get them answered live!  


Whether you're a PDAer, parent, caregiver, educator, or professional, you'll have the opportunity to engage directly with knowledgeable speakers on a variety of essential topics relating to PDA.

  • 9:30 AM –  Q&A on PDA Assessment with Dr. Jenna Cacciola (Child Psychologist): Gain insights into the PDA assessment process, including how to identify PDA traits and what to look for in a psychologist assessing for PDA.

  • 11:00 AMQ&A on Communication with PDAers led by Danielle Sullivan of Neurodiverging: Learn practical, compassionate communication strategies to reduce conflict and foster understanding in interactions with individuals with PDA.

  • 12:00 PMQ&A on Burnout Recovery with Rabbi Shoshana Meira Friedman (Adult PDAer & founder of The PDA Safe Circle) Understand the signs of PDA burnout and explore effective ways for to recover.

  • 1:30 PMQ&A on Alternative Education Methods or PDAers with Claire Jakubiszyn (Blazing Star School)Explore educational approaches tailored to the needs of individuals with PDA and unique approaches to supporting PDA students.

  • 3:00 PMQ&A on Advocacy for PDAers with Diane Gould,Founder & Executive Director of PDA North America: Reflect on the mission of PDA North America and learn about the resources, support, and advocacy efforts available for families and individuals impacted by PDA.

  • 4:30 PM –  Q&A on Finding Community with Helen LoweryDiscover how building a supportive community can make all the difference for individuals with PDA and their families.
