Join Mike Little for a session in pen turning.  This is the instructional portion of the event where we cover basic safety and operations on a wood lathe.  Please also sign up for an 1:1 in person event for the actual hands-on portion of the pen turning project.  Materials will be provided.

What should students wear?

• Required: Closed toed shoes.
• Required: Long hair must be secured.
• Required: No loose clothing or jewelry.  Drawstrings on hoodies must be tucked in.  No gloves.  

What about Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)?

• Required: Eye safety. Safety glasses and full face shields are on hand to use, but you are welcome and encouraged to have your own!
• Optional: Dust mask or respirator
